Wake up early, arrive late, stay late and satisfy your hunger. Like the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, the lobby, bar and restaurant of Bergwelt Grindelwald form a unity of magic and conviviality. Whether you go on a joyride through the drinks menu, or the ambience inspires you to take an extended culinary voyage of discovery, we always celebrate sizzling moments of pleasure in Bergwelt Grindelwald. All restaurants are also open to external visitors. Reservations are requested.
We charge a fee of CHF 100 for last-minute cancellations and no-shows.
BG’s Grill
Taste intense freshness and be seduced by the aromas and colours on your plate. At BG’s Grill restaurant, Urs Gschwend and his team serve casual Alpine soul food with familiar and surprising dishes. They use local produce and prepare meat, fish and more on the restaurant’s namesake wood-fired grill. Together with the perfectly matched wine selection, every visit to the 15 Gault Millau Points Restaurant BG’s is an enjoyable adventure.

The Seven Spirits Bar
Toast to life with old and new friends and celebrate the end of a wonderful day. The Bergwelt Grindelwald bar invites you to enjoy discoveries in the wine cabinet, sparkling signature cocktails and informal socialising.

The Other Club
Watch the flames by the open fire, browse between the covers of a book and relive old stories about pioneering deeds and friendships won and lost. Like the club of the same name in London, the cigar lounge is reminiscent of Sir Winston Churchill’s successful ascent of the Wetterhorn. A selection of cigars in the humidor invites you to linger.
The Lobby
Arrive, sit down and let the moment become a beginning and an eternity. In the cosy ambience of the lobby, long-distance travellers and summit conquerors chat between cosy cushions and enjoy hot-brewed coffee and tea specialities.
YUKO MAKI – SHABU SHABU IS BACK
From 5th October to 15 December 2024
In 1921, the Japanese Maki Yuko, together with three locals, achieved the first ascent of the Eiger via the famous Mittellegi Ridge. Our cuisine at "Yuko Maki" is inspired by the flavors and traditions of the legendary alpinist's homeland. Immerse yourself in the world of shabu shabu, a delicious type of hot pot in which fresh ingredients such as delicate meat, crunchy vegetables and aromatic spices are prepared in a hot bouillon stock.
On selected dates, you can also enjoy exceptional sushi creations that will delight your taste buds.

Pinte
Toast to life with local regulars and travelling adventurers and enjoy the cosy down-to-earth atmosphere. The traditional Pinte restaurant has always been a popular meeting place in the centre of the village. It is the oldest hotel in Grindelwald and is part of the Alpine Design Resort Bergwelt Grindelwald.
