History & Tradition
Remembering, preserving and passing on traditions and fascination from generation to generation, the Bergwelt Grindelwald has its own story to tell. The people of the Oberland pioneered tourism early on and the people of the Unterland discovered and learnt to love the magical valley. And this is still the case today: the new V-Cableway has just been inaugurated and takes the daring safely to the heights.

Journey
For a relaxed and sustainable journey, we recommend that our guests travel to Grindelwald by public transport.
Arrival by car is directly via the hotel's own parking lot.
Please note that it is not possible to reserve a parking space. If there is no parking space available when you arrive, we will be happy to help you find an alternative in Grindelwald.
Dogs
They are also welcome here. Book the pet package for your four-legged friend. They only have to stay outside in the Fire & Ice SPA.

Architectural Arts
Painted, sawn, carved from stone. Bergwelt Grindelwald also offers a voyage of discovery into Swiss art: paintings by the artist Max Hari from Thun and acrylic glass works by Susi Kramer from Oberhof (AG) as well as various sculptures and paintings from the collection of Beat Wälchli from Aarwangen are on display in the hotel.
